Pre workout smoothie!!

So today I didn't really have a chance to make a meal per se... But this is my pre workout smoothie.... You'll need 1 Thai coconut cut open and use water and meat, add 1/3 cup hemp seeds, 2 bananas, about 3-6 dates (depending on how ripe your bananas are), 2 TBS of raw cacao, top off with water and blend!!! Yummmm electrolytes and postassium!

Hola chicos y chicas! Ahora no tuve chanza de hacer una cena pero hice un licuado antes de hacer mis ejercicios... Para esta receta vas a necesitar 1 coco entero, vas a usar la agua y la carne del coco, 1/3 vaso de semillas hemp, 2 plátanos maduros, de 3 a 6 dátiles dependiendo de que tan maduros estén los plátanos, 2 cucharadas grandes de cacao. Llene la liquidadora con agua y licúe bien! Yummmm potasio, proteína y electrolitos!

Burger!!! Yea you heard me!

It looks bland and like a regular veggie burger BUT.... The spread is what gives it that awesome kick...so you can create whatever kind of burger you want... If you juice beets and carrots you can use ...the pulp as a patty... Okay let's get back to the awesome sauce (which you can use as salsa or salad dressing as well).

You will need 1/4 c. Sesame seeds, 2 zucchinis, the juice of one lemon, 2 mangos and 2 habanero peppers (use less for less of a kick) and 1/2 avocado. Blend in high speed blender or food processor until creamy. Spread that sh*t everywhere!!!! Nomnomnom.

Hola chicos y chicas! Ahora hice una hamburguesa de puros vegetales usando hongos portobello como el pan... Puedes hacer la como a ti te gusta pero la salsa es lo ke le da un sabor exquisito!
Para la salsa vas a necesitar 1/2 taza de semillas sesame, 2 calabacitas, 2 mangos, el jugo de un limón amarillo, 1/2 aguacate y 2 chiles habaneros... Mezclar en una liquadora de alta velocidad o un food processor. Salió un poco picoso pero soy mexicana y me gusta lo enchilosito ;)

Greens for St. Pattys day

For the green juice: 1/2 pineapple, 20 oz of fresh orange juice, 4 teaspoons of spirulina, 1 pint strawberries with the green top and 1 apple. Blend in high speed blender
For the spaghetti just spiralized zucchinis. You can purchase a spiralizer or cut the zucchini in strips.
For the pesto 1 clove garlic, bunch of basil, 2 zucchinis, 1/2 avocado and the juice of 1 lemon. Simple salad with cilantro, red leaf lettuce, and 4 different color bell peppers topped with lime juice. Used Food processor.

Para el jugo verde: 1/2 piña, 20 oz de jugo de naranja fresca, 4 cucharadas de espirulina, 1 manzana. Liquar con una liquadora de alta velocidad.
Para el espaghetti Spiralized calabacines. Puedes comprar un spiralizer o cortar las calabacitas en tiras.
Para el pesto 1 diente de ajo, manojo de albahaca, 2 calabacines, 1/2 aguacate y el jugo de 1 limón. Ensalada simple con cilantro, lechuga de hoja roja, los 4 colores de pimiento con jugo de limón verde encima. Usar un food processor.

90 degrees!

Unusually hot for Southern California. Today is going to be 90 degrees so I made my tropical smoothie... You will need:
10 ounces of coconut water
10 ounces fresh squeezed orange juice
3 super ripe mangos
1 pint strawberries (frozen for a colder smoothie)
1/2 pineapple

Put everything in blender and do a little dance ;)

Cheesecake!!

So I know I promised a video but it's not as easy as it seems so here's a picture and the recipe

~~For the crust:
1/2 C. Dates 2 C. Walnuts
~~For the "cheese":...
3 C. Cashews soaked overnight
3/4 C. Coconut oil
1/2 C. Agave nectar
1/4 C. Lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla extract
~~For the topping:
1 pint of raspberries
8 dates

Instructions: In food processor blend the walnuts and dates until Mixed. Flatten onto cheesecake pan to create a crust. Then mix all ingredients for cheese in the food processor until creamy. Pour on top of crust. Mix raspberries and dates on food processor or high speed blender until thick and pour on top of cheesecake and freeze for at least 3 hours. Enjoy!
